Architectural restoration:  This porch cornice was completely stripped of all it's old deteriorated wood facing leaving it's rough framing.  The rough framing was in great condition and a good candidate for this restoration project.  I used a high grade Honduran Mahogany lumber for this restoration project.  Honduran mahogany wood is a hardwood that is extremely durable for exterior applications and it always has the reddish color that is part of its beauty.  All of the Honduran mahogany wood parts were milled in my woodworking shop.  The three Fiberglas columns were installed along with this fiberglass porch railing that truly complements this project.

Cedar bi-level rooftop deck: This deck was built on a two story row home in the Philadelphia Art Museum area.  This home was only a two bedroom home so room was critical.  We installed a folding attic staircase in the deck access bedroom of the home when the deck is not use, the customer can just fold up the staircase out of sight.  The observation room on this deck has six vinyl windows and one fiberglass door with aluminum storm door that she can use for a observation post or just enjoying the center city view.   Outside of the observation room is a large Cedar deck with two smaller decks on each side of the observation room.  When building the observation room we used fiberglass insulation in the floor, walls and ceiling so the customer can enjoy it all year long.

Pressure treated enclosure wooden deck:  This deck was built with a 45° front bay for extra accent and character.  It has 13 aluminum double hung storm windows with a 5 foot Pella sliding door for access.  Inside there is sconce lighting for each side of the sliding door, ceiling fan with lights and electrical outlets.  The roof has a 30 year life warranty dimensional roof shingle with the inside ceiling having fiberglass insulation to keep the summer heat out.  This deck is held up by using steel round post for long life and character.  Under the deck is a patio with it's own pressure treated wooden fence, swinging gate and outdoor post lighting.
