We have known Michael Rogozinski for approximately thirty (30) years.  Michael first did work on our townhouse in Queen Village.  He did a partial remodeling of our kitchen and built a beautiful mantle for the fire place.  When we moved to Wynnewood, Michael continued to provide carpentry, plumbing and electrical work at our subsequent three houses.       

These projects included remodeling our kitchens and  bathrooms.  Michael also did the siding at one of our homes,  repair damage to joists caused by termites, installed numerous Pella windows as well as sky sun light tubes in our foyer.  He continued to work for us when we moved to our hopefully last home, a townhouse, installing a brand new bathroom on the 3^rd floor, redoing our kitchen  and remodeling the three other bathrooms.  In addition, Michael installed openable sky light windows on the third floor.       

For every project that Michael has worked on there were absolutely no problems with each job, finished exactly on schedule and in accordance with the agreed upon price.  Michael’s work ethic and standards are so exacting that there has never been a call back for any problem whatsoever.  As result of his incredible workmanship, reputation and friendliness, we have referred Michael to numerous neighbors, friends and professional colleagues.  All of the people Michael has done work for also have the highest praise for his workmanship and they in turn have called him for additional projects and referrals to their friends and neighbors.

When we moved into Philadelphia from the suburbs, we were introduced to Mike Rogo, whose gorgeous work (a built in unit in the living room and remodels in bathrooms) had been part of what attracted us to buy our current townhouse.  We hired Mike to build us a roof deck, fix a bedroom ceiling and do other smaller home improvements.  What a find!  He was always prompt, neat, and fair.  His work is excellent. We were impressed with the way he instructed and oversaw his young assistant, teaching him skills as well as good work ethics.  As a fellow professional, I appreciated both Mike's superior product and professional behavior.  And he's fun to have around. . .

Mike Rogo – Carpenter / General Contractor for Kitchen Renovation 
 

Mike is an excellent carpenter.  He was the general contractor for the renovation of my home kitchen.  Mike is probably most proud of the seamless connection between the original brick row house (about 100-yrs old) and the new addition.  He did the work or selected and hired the contractors from the demolition of the old shed kitchen to laying the foundation and building the new rooms. 

I approached Mike with the design by John Darling-Wolf, an independent architect of atelier darling-wolf ARCHITECTURE+DESIGN located in Mt Airy, for the kitchen and a small powder room.  Mike took it from there and implemented the building.  Because of the relatively small size of the area there really was no room for error. Mike added to the plan with his input on a source for a window used as the back splash under one set of cabinets, a removable piece of baseboard to expedite cleaning below the heater, an overhang detail above the door leading to the garden, and a practical suggestion on shortening one of the raised flower beds. 

Mike takes pride in finding good materials and building to last.
