CABINET MAKING AND BOOKCASES:  THIS CAPTION IS SHOWING SOME BOOKCASES THAT WERE MADE IN MY WOODWORKING SHOP.   THE CUSTOMER WOULD GIVE ME A DRAWING OF WHAT THEY WOULD LIKE MADE.  THE DeSCRIPTION WOULD SHOW A DRAWING, WOOD SPECIES, STAIN COLOR WITH LACQUER TYPE.  THE FIRST TWO PICTURES ARE OF A 12’ X 9’ CHERRY WOOD BOOKCASE FIREPLACE SURROUND WITH A GRANITE Hearth.  THE THIRD PICTURE IS A 10’ X 42” RED OAK BOOKCASE.  THIS WAS MADE TO MATCH THE CUSTOMER'S EXisting FIRE PLACE.  PICTURES FOUR AND FIVE ARE OF A HARD ROCK MAPLE "L" SHAPE BOOKCASE WITH ROLLING LADDER AND THREE LIGHTING GROUPS AND ELECTRICAL OUTLET.

CABINET MAKING AND BOOKCASES:  THese CAPTIONs are SHOWING a library, bathroom vanity and a bookcase THAT WERE MADE IN MY WOODWORKING SHOP.   THE CuSTOMER WOULD GIVE ME A DRAWING OF WHAT THEY WOULD LIKE MADE.  THE DISCRIPTION WOULD SHOW A DRAWING, WOOD SPECIES, STAIN COLOR WITH LACQUER TYPE.  THE FIRST three PICTURES ARE OF A 15’ X 8’ african CHERRY WOOD library with raised panel doors and matching crown molding and base molding that wraps the room perimeter.  the customer wanted a contraSTing light oak floor that is a great compliment for this project.  the fourth picture is a cherry wood vanity, counter top, medicINE cabinet plus a light bar.  all my bathroom and kitchen projects are finished with conversion varnish.  conversion varnish is a product like lacquer but conversion varnish will withstand steam and water without discoloring or damaging the finish.  the fifth picture is of a cherry built-in with adjustable shelves.  the customer had a recESsED wall and wanted a cherry bookcase to fill the space.

PORCELAIN flooring and cabinet built-ins:  The first three pictures are of a simulated french lime stone porcelain flooring project that was installed in this center city philadelphia home.  each tile is 21”x 21” and ¾” thick.   the FLOOR tiles were finished with a four inch MATCHING PORcelain TILE wall base and a light maple colored grout.   also, in the right hand corner of the pictures is a second project of an italian granite fire place and hearth.   pictures 4 and 5 are of an oak built-In cabinet with a clear LACQUER finish.  this cabinet was built in my woodworking shop and installed on site in another center city philadelphia HOME.  this cabinet has two lighting groups WITH TWO electrical outlets.
